Always excellent...The place has great food thats inexpensive and taste fantastic. My favorite is the burrito bowl with carnitas. The guacamole is fantastic.

I am always in the mood for Chipotle. Try using their honey salad dressing in your burrito. Or if your not really hungry enough to eat a monstrous burrito get just one or two tacos instead of the normal three. One taco is pretty cheap.

Skimpiest portions ever. I've to Chipotles all over the country and this one is the worst.

I love Chipotle and I go here a lot. However, some days I get better serving portions than others: it all depends on the person who is scooping. The small brunette girl is awesome, always gives a lot of food.

Been to CHIPOTLE a few times for lunch, I always get the bowl, brown rice, chicken, tomato, lettuce, cheese and sour cream. The taste is always consistent however the portion size varies due to the server...still not a bad lunch deal for about $6 (no soda,no guacamole) It "crowds up" at 12, so it helps to get there a bit earlier or after 1:30....

"We are out of tortillas..." ok what can i order "a salad" No thanks. How does Chipotle run out of tortillas????

I just love Chipotle period. As a vegan it is so easy to eat here - and eat here with meat eating friends while keeping everyone happy. The service is always spot-on. The place is always clean. I LOVE that they have sweet iced tea ( my weakness - terrible I know ) Guac, corn, salsa, rice....heaven.....

The Chipotle in Ft Lauderdale offers consumers generous portion sizes. The dinning room is large and has ample seating arrangments.

Ughhh. Chipotle is my life. I have been in love with Chipotle since I first tried it back when I was in 9th grade. I have tried most everything on the menu, but in my opinion nothing beats a steak burrito. My steak burrito is also very specific- no rice, no beans, fajita vegetables, mild salsa, sour cream, and lots of cheese and lettuce. The way the spices and juices on the steak blend in with the sour cream- oh my Goooodddd. Heavenly. Unfortunately for my taste buds I no longer order the steak burrito due to my expanding waistline... Instead I get a burrito bowl. My burrito bowl is basically the same as my previously mentioned burrito order- except I get a little of their cilantro rice mixed in. Still amazing. God I love me some Chipotle!

My husband and went here yesterday for dinner. At payment, the cashier asked if we had anything else besides a $100 bill. My husband said no and the cashier said we don't take $100 bills. With not even a sorry from anyone, my husband said ok and we turned around and walked out. I did not see a sign anywhere stating they didn't take them. Seine needs to teach the staff on how to be polite to customers. We won't ever be coming here again.

Wowie is this Chipotle location busy! The clutch move is to place your order online through the Chipotle app and breeze past the line to pay for your order. I've only had one experience where my order wasn't 100% accurate. I recently tried the new Sofritas meatless protein and was underwhelmed. I'm not a vegetarian, but enjoy most meatless proteins. Tthis was a weird consistency. Kinda like soy crumbles.

I know Chipotle restaurants all typically taste the same and what not, but I love this location because of the staff. When I typically get off of work, its at 9pm if not a bit later. By the time I want to sit and enjoy my meal its closer to 9:30-9:45pm. Though they close at 10, I am always welcomed in and given the best of service. My order has never been messed up and none of the ingredients are ever over or under cooked. The establishment is always clean and fully stocked with napkins and silverware. Chantal (possibly spelled Chantel?) is SUCH a sweetheart and really made my day with her compliments on my bag and her genuine interest in my retail job. Thanks so much!

It's a fast Mexican fast food place, but the quality and flavor of the food are really very, very good. You can tell that all of the ingredients are, though not first class, really very much top of the line. The place is generally clean and the cafeteria type of line generally moves right along. I'd even give it a four star, but there are drawbacks. Though the floor is clean and the kitchen appears orderly and clean, the table tops never seem to be clean. You may very well end up being a table cleaner. The interior is about as industrial and Spartan as one can get. A bare open ceiling, some high intensity lighting that matches nothing, cement floors, cheap, low budget seats and tables. Nothing at all appealing about the interior. What does impress me are the ingredients and flavors of their foods. Yes, you do pay more than Taco Hut, but having food with ingredients that don't sound like they came out of a New Jersey chemical dump make Chipotle well worth the extra price.

A good and reliable quick service restaurant serving what is ostensibly a rice and beans burrito with a little protein. If you like spicy foods, I recommend the Roja Salsa and grab a bottle of Tabasco Jalapeno or Chipotle just in case the red isn't enough. I'd like to see Chipotle try some innovations (something vegetarian besides guacamole, fish tacos, shrimp, ceviche, et al). It's been the same everything for a few years now.

Great simple fresh food. I love the corporation policy of using antibiotic free animal meat. Food is very good and very flexible and how you want it. Great for lunch or quick pick me up.

The Wholefoods of Fast Foods !! Since living in Los Angeles I have been a fan of this restaurant. It's the same as their sister restaurants in California. I always get the chicken burrito or the chicken bowl. It's clean , modern, and you can drink the water too! You can eat like a king or Queen for under $7. I usually eat only half of one. They use the very best in meats and produce. Mas tacos Por Favor !!!

I can no longer eat at an establishment that will not support our constitutional right to defend myself. I probably ate here once a week but no more chipotle for me and my family. Only getting one star because it makes me put one for a review

I never get tired of chipotle. The food is great and is fresh...so much better than taco bell. Can be very crowded at weekday lunch hour time. PROS: Yummy! CONS: The music they play is too loud.

My all time favorite when it comes to fast food. But almost $2 for some guacamole to add on is just annoying. The NON-GMO project is definitely what makes me come back so often (too often if you ask my partner).

You can't go wrong with Chipotle. It's a clean environment and always good service. I come here for lunch and never disappoints. Whether I get the carnitas burrito or the salad, it's always on point and staff is always friendly. The tables are always clean if you want to eat there. For a fast restaurant, it's good quality food and from what I organic meat as well. If you don't like red meat, you can go for chicken. Their ingredients are always fresh and you add what you want. The food portions are just right, at times I take half to go because it's too much for me to finish. Overall this place is excellent and with good prices for the portions they serve you.

Great food. Usually Fast service. The only downside is they are often out of menu items like carnitas and sofritas. They post it on the door. They also posted sometimes they can't get a particular type of steak. Maybe they need to find a new meat distributor. Today it was slow slow slow. 2 people on line at 230pm - people lined up out the door. No manager in site to direct staff. Staff yelling for food from kitchen. Cashier walking around dazed putting out napkins. Line 1/2 way to the door. Crazy....

This is my least favorite Chipotle.I hate saying that because I love Chipotle. I'm not sure if the first girl at the counter was hard of hearing or not paying attention, but almost had to spell out the fact that I wanted a chicken burrito bowl to her. I think 3 times is enough, right? They ran out of chicken. This bothers me because to me this is poor production planning. When I go anywhere and they sell out of their staple ie: KFC running out of chicken, Wendy's not having Frosty's it's irritating because that's what yo go there for so you need to prepare accordingly. Fortunately I was able to get my chicken, but not without a wait. Everyone else in the middle was fine. You know, pleasant. The girl at the register was not the nicest. She just kind of shoved the food at us (without a tray) and sent us on our way. There was no iced tea (sweet or unsweetend). I would go back here only because I love Chipotle, but I would need to take Xanax first to keep my nerves in check.

This is one of my favorite Chipotle restaurants in broward, there is such good energy and the employees are nice and seem to be happy. Food is always good and fast, as it can be atleast since so many other people love this place. Its always clean and though the portions seem small, as someone who has worked in the food industry I know that there are standards set by the higher ups. The manager Lindsey does a very good job.

I'll never understand people's obsession with this chain. The amount of meat and the level of ingredients this place puts into its food - the prices should be 30% cheaper - literally pennies on the dollar. I got their chicken burrito - hardly any chicken, the rest is PACKED with bland rice. Packing a starch into a starch is just nasty, would be like dipping french fries into mashed potatoes. And people rave about it. Wow.

  • Gary D.

The portion sizes were noticeably smaller today. I spoke to the cashier because I had to purchase Double meat in order to get just slightly more than I do usually get with just the regular quantity of meat. The cashier who appears to be the manager or a management person speaking on behalf of the restaurant said all quantities are 4 ounces. Every time I have been in here in the past apparently I have received more than I was supposed to for the past two years. I suggested to her perhaps they need to start weighing the portions for consistency. She said "i'm sorry". My attempts to resolve the portion size was unsuccessful. My dinner cost an additional three dollars with tax, that's 25% more. Perhaps I need to come at a different time of the day as I have in the past. I am very disappointed. I have eaten here regularly for the past two years. There are many other fast food restaurants that likely would appreciate my business I'm sure and the portion sizes are consistent. I have never written a complaint about a restaurant before, however the lack of interest even addressing my issue seems to warrent it. Unless you have a small appetite I would recommend perhaps PDQ restaurant, Taco Bell or Lime.

I'd always thought of Chipotle as another chain of restaurants. I never had any interest in trying them until I heard that they eliminated bacon from their beans. That made me realize that they weren't just another chain. They actually listened to their customers requests. I finally tried them out last night. I was not really sure how the "system" works since all of the options were clearly listed as well as displayed. Lindsay patiently explained all of my options. I was pleasantly surprised. First she prewarmed my tortilla (for the buritto), then gave me a choice of 2 types of rice, 2 types of beans, and all of the toppings, and fixins I could want. "You mean I don't have to choose? I can mix them ? I can mix the fresh salsas too? Avocado instead of meat?" That's a first for me! Everything was super fresh , very tasty , and reasonably priced. Chipotle is a new fave!

Good place for lunch or dinner. It does get crowded around 6 or 7 pm but the line moves quickly. I definitely recommend this place for a cheap and healthy meal under $10.

I had Chicken burrito. Too spicy hot and I asked for mild. Too many people asking too many questions and I didn't have the answer quickly, like they were annoyed. There are a lot of choices, give me space to decide.

I absolutely love this location. The crew that work the line are attentive and give the right portion every time, like Goldie locks "not too much, not too little". The to-go girl Alandra is always the kindest in person and on the phone. I made an order for the company I work for and by the time I got to the restaurant the food was just about done, so everything was fresh and still hot. The manager has to be the most sincere and customer care driven mangers I've experienced in a restaurant. This chipotle rocks!!

I like this place. Its pretty healthy and convenient. The customer service is good. Love the tacos. I like that is right next to Starbucks so after you can have a some coffee and dessert.

  • Nate H.

I love it. Fresh, everyday! Because they have such big volume, they can afford to refresh their meets and veggies like every 30 minutes. So the food is good and fresh, all the time. No exceptions. This concept is brilliant. Quick, buffet style choose only what you like, build your meal how you like it, and affordable. The only downside is that because of their success, there is a long wait to order Everytime I go!! However it's worth the wait if you have the time.

Everytime I visit a Chiptole, I remember why I do not come often. I had a steak burrito with mixed beans and all the included items except cheese. My buddy and I went for dinner. I love the idea behind them. But the food is always cold by the time you sit down and eat. Yes their burritos are huge. But there is never any kind of taste. I loved my lemonade/tea mix that I make which is 80/20 instead of a Arnold Palmer. Definitely think I am done with Chipotle.

My husband and I stopped here as first timers. We didn't know what to expect. I normally don't like to eat at "go to the counter" restaurants on the weekends, but we stayed in line and was surprised at how good the bowl was. It was way too much food but we motored on thru it. Usually talking during our meal we didn't this time. It was just too damn good. And, they had cold beer. We look forward to the next visit.

For what it is, a walk-up quick service restaurants, this place is great. We've had one bad experience, but that's only because they had some difficulties and ran out of everything. They didn't try to fix the problem, which they could, But, that didn't put a dent in our overall impression.

I very rarely eat at chain restaurants, particularly when they are fast food. However , Salsa Fresca , recommended to us by friend, had just closed for the evening. The good news is the food really wasn't bad . Beans, salsa and guacamole all had good flavor and tasted fresh enough. Husband had chicken taco and liked well enough. The decor was simple and clean which is a big improvement over the poorly decorated plastic interior of most fast food. The menu simple and easy to order. The bad news is that even though restaurant was slow with no one behind us, the server slammed the food down on plate in most unappetizing way imaginable. No finesse . We were cattle at a trough. However, what downgraded this experience even more was the sub zero temperature. It was exactly like eating in a walk in fridge. Both of us rushed through our meal very uncomfortable. I only finished half my Dos Equis which is maybe a first for me. Both of us had stomach pains due to the breakneck speed we were forced to eat at because of the freezing cold. There would have to be zero other choice before I could ever recommend or return to.

Sometimes, and on purposely, I starve myself for two-days in a row. I proceed on the third day and have one thing in mind, and that's to walk into a Chipotle, order a burrito, and intake a 1,200-2,000 calories just to refuel that energy back. I don't know why, but their burritos taste so much better like that...

I always loved Chipotle so much, and eaten here countless times, yet, I must confess that after eaten at Lime across the street, I cant see myself going back. It is just much better over there... Sorry Chipotle, I guess it is time to say goodbye :(

I can't say enough great things about this place! (x) Clean (x) Everything is fresh! (x) Beer fridge fully stocked (x) Plenty of alternative beverages for the non drinking type (x) Clean bathrooms (x) Everything is FRESH! This is by far the best $8 you'll splurge on dinner, I just wish they were open past 10pm on a thursday or friday night for that pit stop before you finally make it home after happy hour :)

I am a big fan of chipotle but I am not a fan of horrible customer service. There is a reason 5 people are working at a time and when you see a customer you should take that customers order not make them wait. Obviously, no one working at this chipotle seems to understand what customer service is. Also the employees could learn a thing or two on how to be polite and not rude. Ill take my business across the street at Lime for Mexican takeout from now on.

The people working at this Chipotle are great and generous with the portions. It's a clean restaurant and even if they're a few people in line, you'll have your food in a jiffy. This location is one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite to eat.

Something off-putting about this location.... It's convenient and close to home, but doesn't stack up to others that I go to in the area. I've got a location near my office that I choose 9/10 times over this one.The kids that work here are extremely skimpy on nearly everything when filling bowls or burritos and though the store is always busy in a "behind the scenes" way, I never see anyone cleaning the dining room. They need to take a minute and get their franchise quality control and consistency in line.

Excellent for a fast fresh lunch or dinner snack. Grab a bowl, wrap or taco. As you move through the selections you practically make your own dish, it's very well flavored, fresh and good. Be careful on the spicy salsa if you are not a spicy fan as it's spicy for an ordinary person. You can also select and take a Tabasco green or red bottle to your table. I didn't see beer so it's mainly soft drinks and fresh juices. The grilled chicken bowl is my favorite.

If you haven't been to this store recently, I recommend stopping by. I have been to a few different locations and I must say this is the best store I have been to by far. Everyone is friendly, the store is kept very clean, and the food is outstanding. Everyone seems to really enjoy working there and is happy to explain any questions you may have. Ask for a chicken quesadilla! It's not on the menu but it's delicious...

  • Alissa W.

I don't understand the hype about this place with Zona Fresca across the way. Mass produced food, the chicken isn't even white meat. Not everyone eats dark meat so this already threw me off. So I ordered a bean burrito the flour tortilla was cold, so were the beans. To me this tasted like food I would not even feed to my dog. If you want fast food Mexican walk across to Zona Fresca at least they make everything fresh. The food isn't even that cheap here I paid $6.00 for a cold bean burrito that had no taste. Their ingredients compared maybe to Taco Bell are better quality, but I don't eat at Taco Bell !!!

Why did it take the 10 th time ordering a veggie burrito for the guy mention guacamole came with it for free? I would have just assumed they might have mentioned that maybe not the first time but by the 6,8 th???greedy w the guac! Obviously impersonal. But I like the veggie burrito.

Chipotle! I am a die-hard, Colorado-native, fan-since-the-beginning Chipotle eater. I've promoted the place to all my friends who have never been in all three states where I've lived, CO, MI and FL. I've been disheartened lately with the portion sizes. I was used to getting a bowl or tacos and some chips and that lasting me for 2 meals. Now, I noticed price increases on all food items, and portion sizes are shrinking. I thought this might be due to the employees at my local Chipotle but there are signs that this is corporate. One less taco for the crunchy tacos, the taco shells and tortillas are noticeably smaller, the meat, cheese and sour cream scoops are sparse, the cheese shreds are thicker but less is given, and the chip bags. . . well it's offensive to have to pay for 20 chips. I'm continuously trying to convince my husband that Chipotle is the best taco/burrito place in our are of Fort Lauderdale but today I declared defeat. Maybe we'll be back to see if there are improvements, but with all the new options available in this highly competitive, quality, Mexican fast-food market, I hope not to forget about Chipotle.

Hi Everyone! :) I've been watching the restaurant Chipotle being built for a number of months now - in a the new and improved shopping plaza off of Federal Highway near the Bal Harbour neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale... I have been both excited (because of new growth and liveliness of the slowly dying plaza) and disappointed (at all the "chain" restaurants popping up) watching this transformation take place... I'm all about giving back to my community and support a lot of the local restaurants/coffee shops, etc... I had a hankering for tacos last night.. so me and my girl decided to go to Chipotle to satisfy the craving. :) So I'm going to share my step by step experience... The parking was ideal: we had front row parking in the very busy lot... parking doesn't feel like an issue right now because a lot of the new build out spaces for the plaza have not yet opened... We enter the crowded restaurant...around 7pm to a very cold space...decor and acoustic-wise.. (my previous Chipotle experiences have been the same in this arena-so it wasn't surprising)... we waited in a long but steady paced line... trying to talk to one another but it was so loud... and brain rattling... that didn't happen until we found a spot to sit outside. The menu board was mostly clear - a few items I wasn't sure what they were... Barbacoa ? We get to the "assembly line" to order our food and were herded like livestock... when she asked what a certain item was... we were stared like we were retards (from a grown gentleman)... and didn't get an answer until we asked again... very politely... we were rushed through the line... DEFINITELY in need of a BEER at this point :).... going to check out they told us there wasn't any beer because they still have not obtained an alcohol license... which is understandable... and wasn't too disappointing... (well, R was disappointed... I didn't care) lol. Check out - done... Looking for a table seemed to be a challenge... they have these industrial sized air vents that made it really cold - so we squatted for a minute until one of the 4 tables outside became free... we rushed to the outdoor table like it was the running of the bulls in pamplona to grab the table lol... Once at the table - the food was really delicious (surprising)... I ordered the Carnitas Burrito with Cilantro Rice...corn mix...Sour Cream... she ordered the Burrito Bowl... however was a challenge to understand what came with it when it was ordered... If herding and loud doesn't bother you - then this is a cool place... Overall the food was really flavorful...the pricing was okay... I can't imagine ever going back but I'm happy for the experience... I will keep my taco cravings to Whole Enchilada and Zona Fresca down the street...better pricing, the folks are so nice and remember you... and they serve my favorite beer... Until my next adventure.... Cheers, Dez

First of all, I'm just glad that we finally have a Chipotle in Fort Lauderdale. Another added bonus, is that unlike in my native Boston area Chipotle locations, you can enjoy a few Coronas (or some other beer of your choice) with your food. This place is a little hit and miss, though. On the hit side, is the aforementioned beer, as well as the food itself. They use good quality ingredients and there's enough flavor and spice to complement it. On the miss side, is that the staff seems somewhat inexperienced, which resulted in my having to repeat my order several times and go back to the register to get refunded after realizing I had been overcharged. The staff did seem friendly enough and appropriately apologetic for the mishap, however. Hopefully, they can work out some of the kinks and improve in those areas. I plan on coming back and seeing how they'll do.

Don't get me wrong, I love Chipotle. But the quality at this particular location seems to fluctuate alot. Sometimes it'll be so good that you're convinced that they put crack in their food, and other times it'll just be so-so. I did have a couple of bad experiences here, though. For starters, this part goes for every Chipotle. The line is always 15 miles long and similar to that of people waiting to get a warm place to sleep in a home-less shelter for the night, or better yet, you feel like you're being treated like cattle. When you finally get up to the counter where you watch them throw your food on the plate, treating it like "slop", you're being rushed and shouted at with a million questions, like if you want un-ripe tomatoes on your food. I came to this location for lunch with friends on a Sunday about 2 weeks ago. The steak is almost always too under-cooked for me, (I like it medium-well). On this particular date, it was horrible. The steak was raw. For some reason, Chipotle likes to accommodate vampires. I don't know about you, but I don't like tasting blood. That's how raw this steak was. Not to mention, the beans looked like they had a bad weekend. Usually, when the steak here is too under-cooked for me, one of the managers here (he usually works at night) will cook it for a few more minutes for me. He's done this numerous times. He also gives me my food for free when I have to wait too long for steak when they're not that busy. Unfortunately, he wasn't working today. When I got up there to ask them to re-make my bowl for me and cook it for a few more minutes, they told me that they can't do that. I explained that the manager does it for me all of the time when it's too red for me. After barking at the manager on-duty for 10 minutes, I decided to just get my money back and annoyed them with questions such as, how they serve steak right off of the cow and do they have a slaughter-house in the back and such. So I'm on the fence about this location. The only person here with good customer service is the night manager (I don't know his name). Everybody else there seems overly-enthused about being there. Not! Even though I'm a complainer, I'm really not gonna stop going to Chipotle. Why? Because it is addicting, when it's good.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would choose to eat at Chipotle or ever return when the far better Zona Fresca is right across the street. This is assembly line dining at its worst-- loud, sloppy and not at all fresh. Cold salsa, lukewarm beans, sticky rice and meager portions.

Seemed to be a great concept. I like un-chemicalized food whenever possible. Love organic, real, home made, etc. There just were not a lot of choices of sauces or flavorings to go onto the food. So, not really what i would call "Tasty." The place is very clean and nicely designed, however, the air conditioning vents spew out a ton of constantly moving air. You really have to pay attention to your seating choice because of this. I prefer another Mexican place just south of here on the west side of the street, as they have mannnny great salsas and floavored sauces. Just sayin' lol.

Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
